V-Edge®Variable edge geometry
The innovative ultimate in edge processing!
The edge is ground at variable angles in the front and rear sections and at a constant angle in the middle section. This applies to the bottom edge and the side edges. V-Edge works analogously to the three performance categories provided in the Tune Pilot, using tried and tested parameters, completely without wasting time, and optionally with automatic ski recognition. Perfect edge grip and easy ski turning are no longer mutually exclusive – for the ultimate skiing experience. V-Edge is available for the Disc Module and the Polishing Module.
With the "automatic ski recognition" option, the edge angle changes fully automatically in V-Edge mode. The edge angles are variable along the length of the ski: In the center of the skis, they have a dynamic edge angle for optimal grip and control on hard artificial snow and ice. The edge angle is wider in the front and rear sections for easy steering and turning in turns. In addition to providing a completely new skiing experience, this also significantly increases safety. Completely independent of ski length and width, the perfect, variable edge grinding is achieved on the bottom and side edges. This can be done either based on predefined and proven parameters or freely and can be saved in Easyrent.
